How Does It Work?
The Acoustic Wave Therapy device looks and works similar to an ultrasound machine. The hand set is applied to the injured area and the device emits high pressure sound waves that reverberate through the body. These sounds pulses are able to stimulate the body's natural repair response in soft tissue well below the surface. After treatment, the body immediately begins to produce stem cells to repair the damaged tissue. Whereas other treatments for musculoskeletal conditions are simply mitigating symptoms, this treatment actually repairs the damaged tissue at a cellular level. Now, chronic pain that has been persistent for long periods of time can be treated and healed, permanently!

How long does a session take?
Each session takes 10-15 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
Does the treatment itself hurt?
There may be a slight feeling of discomfort or pain when the pulses hit the directly affected area. We can adjust the intensity of the pulses based on individual pain tolerance.
How many sessions do I need?
We will treat one area of the body at a time and, depending on the nature of the problem, can get permanent results in 3-8 sessions.
How much does all of this cost?
Every case is different, and we are recommending anywhere from 1-6 sessions to treat any one problem area. Your first session is $175 and they range from $100-125 after that.
